Roof Lantern Dynamic Block

Dear Dynamic Block Pro's,

I have attempted the creation of a dynamic roof lantern block - see attached.

I've got it so far but I am hoping to get some guidance on the following issue;

When the width is reduced to a certain point, the skylight distorts - see below.

Any ideas to rectify this?

That doesn't seem to be the only problem (see images).

Can you draw and show us an example of what the model should look like after reducing or increasing the width (Sructural opening)? (Which geometry/dimensions have to be constant fixed, which geometry/dimensions shall be able to be changed dynamically?)

The blue text in the below 2 images indicates the variables I wish to employ. The rafter depth variable could be removed.

Does this clarify your question?

I added a Stretch3 action. See attached suggestion.
