I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to create a dynamic block that would do the following:
- It would display numeric values from a linked table (the block itself doesn't need to change in any way based on these values)
- The columns of the table would always relate to the same fields in the block
- For each instance of the block, you can select the row of the table that it takes its values from.
A few other details:
- Preferably, you could select the row based on a list of labels (which would be in the first column), but alternatively specifying the row number would also work.
- Preferably, the table could be any length, but making it a specific size is also doable. The width would always be the same.
- the numeric values in the table would be different each time these blocks were used, so manually coding values within the block would not be workable.
I'm sure I'd have to play around with things to get this working, but I first hoping to know whether it is doable and if so what is the best way to approach it.
