Picklist for a Dynamic block

Does anyone know if there is a way to create a picklist within a dynamic block?

With this I mean you select a block and in a dropdown menu you could have a picklist where you could control visibility of multiple objects.

Let´s say you have a box with 4 items, item 1,2,3 and 4.  You could select to have 1,2 visible with a list like this:

Today, you need to create visibity states for 1,2,3,4, 1&2, 1&3, 1&4, 2&3, 2&4, 3&4,... etc.

Anyone have an idea?

Yup, there are two common methods: scaling or lookups.  I'll make a screencast showing both.

There are a few ways to do the selecting.  You could make a non-plotting checklist like what you show.  I used flips only because the give the single-click on/off behavior.  I added the visibility/lookup parameter to the flip selection sets only because the flip parameter needs an associated action in order to show up and that action needs to flip something.  Those flipped parameters are gripless so they don't show up.  See screencast.

Thanks for this,  it partly works 🙂

Only downside is that you are turning things on/off but you really don´t see what it is you are turning on/off (no text descriptions).

In my case I´m looking for a method to create a workstation with various selectable equipment and it would be quite a bit of trial/error to figure out what it is you are turning on/off.  I guess there is no easy way to create that kind of radio-button-ticklist, maybe in future versions.

Sure you can do that.  I mentioned that in my post with the screencast.  Make whatever checklist you want and place it on a non-plotting layer.  You could even have a single on/off grip switch the visibility of the list and the individual on/off buttons.
