My block does strange things when the value is changed

Hi, 

i'm new to the forums and this is my first post. i just started making dynamic blocks myself for the new company i am working for. I made a block where i want to be able to change the length and the width, when i do this the other parts have to resize as well. I only did the length to start with, it seemed to work when i entered a new value. But when i put in another value, the block is suddenly placed under an angle and none of the constraints are holding up. 

can you guys help me out please?

You do not need to use constraints. Just stretches will do what you want. See the attached drawing. The parameter window needs to go over all the lines that need to be stretched, HOWEVER the T needs a move action (with a distance multiplier of 0.5) added to it to keep it in the centre of the box. A single parameter can have multiple actions associated with it (again see the attached drawing). The block is called test and the one in green is the one you want to look at

Thanks a lot, i knew how to do it for the "T" but was trying to solve the other piece of the puzzle first. I tried to do it the way you discribed it but must have done something wrong.
