Movable objets connecting must automatically follow

Hi everyone
The idea is to make the circle (containing the attributes) movable while keeping the square fixed. The connecting arc (or leader) must automatically follow the circle and remain attached:

  • At one end: to the midpoint of the square's edge.
  • At the other end: to the center (or connection point) of the circle.

Well, according to your second requirement, I guess, you want to the connecting arc always points to the circle center, but the portion of that arc that within the circle is not shown.

 

So, as @h_s_walker 's sample shows, in order to make the stretch action to maintain the arc's end pointing to the circle center, the arc has to have its end at the circle's center. I'd suggest you simply hatch the circle with a solid hatch pattern of proper color to hide the portion of arc inside the circle. Make sure the Hatch's DrawOrder is above the arc. 

 

Based on the look of the block, I assume it is a kind of label. Because of the connecting is an arc, you might want to make the label circle to be flexible of being left/right sided. See it below:

Yes, that's correct, @Norman_Yuan. I want the portion of the arc that lies inside the circle to be hidden (not displayed). Your suggestion is good, but I think it would be even better when combined with @h_s_walker proposal, which I find ideal—especially having the arc automatically follow the square without requiring me to change the visibility.

@majdoviyed25 That was a double lookup. There is a pinned post at the top of this board which shows you how to create them.

Simply put one on the lookups looks at the angle of the polar parameter and when it changes to a different range it sends that value to the second lookup.

The second lookup then checks which value it's received and moves the point parameter to the new location, and since the point moves the end of the arc, it moves to the new location.
