Help with visibilty parameters in blocks

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am re-creating blocks for my fire alarm design business and I am trying to set up a horn/strobe block with a visibilty parameter that allows a user to select different candela ranges (15cd, 75cd, 115cd, 177cd etc...) and when one is selected a coverage area (hatch) is activated at the dimensions I set up. It would would also need an off or inactive option as well since this will only be temporary while trying to determine what candela the device needs to be set at. I have been trying to get this to work without any luck. Is this even possible? If not, is there any other option? I have used fire alarm design software in the past, and those had this feature on their blocks. I am open to coding something in visual studio as a plugin if needed. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

I think this should be possible with a double lookp. Post your block please.

And also it would be nice to post an (old) bock which already has this feature. (So we can see what you want to get).

Please post your block.  (old and new), also a quick image of how it's shown on drawings.

Do you need the "cd" value to be shown or hidden?

Same block? just different levels?

Short answer is yes, it is possible with what you have in ACAD.  It is built just for this.  Also are extracting the data out?

Cheers.
