ELEVATION MARKERS

Hello All,

I have a dynamic block attached that I'm testing to find the a better way to display elevation dimensions.

I currently have my block setup to read the length of construction lines which gives me a reliable output.  However, if I redefine the block from my library, all of the values  change to ####.  Is there a workaround for this?  I've tried a couple of different routes and have not had success.

Here is a (screencast) of the hashtags

Instead of object fields referencing the construction lines, use blockplaceholder fields referencing the distance parameters.

I was getting an error as it turns out,  I think because I was editing the field to try different options. Once I replaced it with a new reference everything worked as expected and so I changed my method to move rather than stretch which is a little more convenient for me. The ###'s hung around through one more re-insert and are now gone.  Redefine is working as it should.

Sharing revised block for anyone interested.

Thanks.
