editing dimension properties in an established block

So I got a new client that likes dimensions a little differently than how I ususally do them but when I try to change them in my block it doesn't work. I assume it because its a complex block with visiablilty states and sevral lookups, but I really don't wanna recreate it for just a few dimensions text size changes. does anyone have any ideas that I could try before just recreating the whole thing from scratch?

I need to make the 1/4" (shim size) , the 1-3/4" (mullion size) dimensions to be 1/16" height rather than the 1/8" that I have it.

Thanks for your help.

The height of your dimension text is driven by a text style with a fixed height.

You can do this:

- Based on your textstyle "AC&D Annotative" create a new text style "TStyle_new" (or any other name)

- change the height of the text to the half of the current value

- save it

- Based on your dim style "AC&D Annotative" create a new dimstyle "DStyle_new" (or any other name)

- Change the used textstyle (Tab Text -> Textstyle) from "AC&D Annotative" to "TStyle_new"

- save it

- select the dimensions you want to change and set their dimstyle to the new created "DStye_new" (via properties panel)
