edit attribute blocks

I am looking for help to align the text in an Block Reference.

I highlighted the Block Reference, clicked on Edit on the Block menu, choose the correct block and opened it.

I moved the line and the Attribute Definition over then clicked on Close Block Editor.

Then when I click on the Block Reference and type in text and save, it still shows up in the original location.

Why did it not move over?

Post the block.  Are you saying that the edited attribute(s) of an existing insertion in model space is not updating after saving the block?  Did you run ATTSYNC?

Hi Libbya, ATTSYNC fixed it! It moved everything over to where I want it. I did not know that command before, thank you so much! very grateful.

Any time you edit the attribute definitions within a block, you need to run ATTSYNC in model space for any existing insertions to adopt the change.  Test block window within block editor will immediately show the change and any new insertions will as well, without running ATTSYNC.
