Dynamic Linear Array - Array working as -1

So i have created a dynamic block of 140x50mm timber stud, which I would like to be able to stretch to array and appear at 600mm c/c. The problem is if i want to pull the array arrow from the initial distance to 600 the second stud does not appear. In order to make it appear i have to pull the arrow/change the array distance to the next distance so 1200 and if i want 2 extra ones then I have to change it to 1800 etc.

The initial array distance is from the "left side" to its centre (so 25mm), so the parameters minimal distance is set to 25mm, with 600mm increment. The array action is set to 600mm as well.

Does anyone know why is the array not working properly and how do i solve that? Stud Array.jpg

The way I think about it... the initial object 'exists' when the parameter associated with the array is equal to the column offset.  The first new arrayed object appears when the associated parameter is equal to 2X the column offset.  The second arrayed object appears when the associated parameter is 3X the column offset, etc...  What you describe is normal and correct behavior.  If you want a parameter with a grip to control the array but you want the objects to appear at a different length of that gripped parameter, then create a chained linear parameter.  Associate the array with that chained parameter and stretch that chained parameter with your gripped parameter.  I would have recorded a step-by-step screencast showing the procedure but you did attach your block.  If you want further assistance, attach the block file.
