Here are some dynamic blocks that I really like:

elevator excellent dynamic block
https://cad-blocks.online/downloads/block-elevator/

Door Dynamic Block

The block allows rotation and inversion because the doors so no need to mirror or rotate command

Doors

Dynamic window

Except most 200 cm window can be changed dynamically

What do you think?

Here is an updated dynamic door block that includes both a single and double door set.

Hope folks find this useful

Here is an update to the door in the previous post  (added flip and rotate).

Also included a couple stair related dynamic blocks.

Here is a set of cable tray blocks that may help a few designers out.

The shading is set up as byblock to provide a bit of color and plotting control without adding extra layers.

Hi, just created the wall block with such variables:

  - 75 or 100 profile

  - 0, 1, 2 gypsum layers

  - reinforcement

  - rockwool

  - color changes by block color

  - one end fixed, other one is adjustable by length and side angle.

Primitives are in white, hidden sides are in black.

Hope it is easy to modify if needed. And hope somebody needs it!

Bug reports are welcome.

Unfortunatelly critical bug is detected. Do not use this block, corrections are needed!

I have a few tricks up my sleeve. For a long time i had to generate elevations and sections in 2D. I found a way to use blocks with different views in a visibility state for every view. I also added a wipe out ion to them. Very handy when using pipe fittings. You have to play around with the draw order. If you use these correct you can automate a bom from just 1 view. Not wipeoutframe should be on 0 with these fittings Im only sharing 1 here and is very basic see reducing bush below. I will share the block def here. last but not least. Many say its not for 3D use but its possible to make a dynamic 3d model( not parametric just dynamic) Its a simple demo but it takes some trial and error to achieve. If you have 3d blocks like this please share it.

Here are many dynamic blocks useful in data center layouts.

Hope they help some folks out and save a bunch of time.

Hi

New mod of gyproc wall is attached.

- Created as a substitute of mline and if Architectural ACad is not available

- Quite many variables with 75 and 100 frames are included: 0, 1, 2 gypsum layers, reinforcement, rockwool.

- Opposite end angle is adjustable.

- Hatch color can be changed by the block color. 255, 255, 255 makes it clear.

- if you work with the black background, side colors should be changed/ if smb needs it, i could change.

Critical bug which was detected in previous "Wall 8" modification (the block destroyed after copying) is healed.

Some small mistakes are still happening, but all are not critical, so I've started to use it in working drawings and quite happy

Knowing bugs:

1/ Do not edit the block in the important drawing, constrains can be damaged after saving.

2/ Visual but not dramatic mistake:

A suggestion to stop the bleed-over hatching:

Create a hatch boundary that gets stretched BUT turn the boundary off in all visstates.  Remember to select only the boundary to stretch do not include the hatch itself in the stretch selection.

For those folks involved in building design or renovation:

Here is a deck icon to place on the plan views to relay to the installer the direction of the B-Deck and other material clarifying info.

Border Line Weight is ByBlock setup as a wipeout with 3 attributes.

Thank you for the involving.
Well, trying to solve the task I realized that constrains are really immature fruit in the Acad software and it works very bad and makes drawing bugged.
And unfortunately to make a such adjustable angle of the wall end without them was impossible for me.
Returning to boundary. I used normal boundaries (closed plines) in wall 8 mod and it made the block so heavy that constrains were damaged if there are more than one block in the drawing, just after copying. Of course, boundaries were hidden in that case and hatches are not in the list of stretch function in any case.
So in this new mod I made hatches in boundaries which are not closed, they are just sides of wall or plasterboard layers and it can't be hidden cause they are what they are.
This minor bug is quite nothing comparing that fact that block works quite well.
How to improve it I don't know talking true. I tried a lot.
So I will stop modifying it and leave as it is. It totally solved my needs and my motivation was ended this time.
Best regards!

If you put your hatch boundary on layer DEFPOINTS, you can leave it displayed as it will never plot.  Then, you can take advantage of the associative hatching and the boundary to make a dynamic hatch area.  The hatch does not update if you change the dimensions in the Properties window; however, it WILL update if you graphically handle the block.  (It seems the hatch update waits on some other reason than simply changing a dimension value... but it eventually updates.)

Did I fix it or break it?

I didn't retest all. Just the "2 + 75 + 2 closed" boundary problem.

Thanks.

Here are a couple of electrical blocks useful to call out predefined circuits.

I have noticed that placing many many of these on a sheet can make the layout become laggy.  I believe it has something to do with the number of attributes.

There will be an update to these in the future once I nail down how to get better performance.

The circuits used to create the blocks are provided here as an excel spreadsheet along with a lisp that is useful to change the attribute layer.

Hope they help some folks.

Best Regards
