Dynamic Block with variable array constraint

Evening all, 

I've been racking my brain to discover the way to do this.

Effectively I'm looking to make a roof tile block which will auto set the batten centres.

Would anyone know how this could be accomplished.

I was working around with creating 1 dynamic block and 1 array (easy to control array distance). I am also looking for Dyn masters to provide better solution.

I think this is what you are after.  The distance between the first and second objects is always 65 units.  The distance between the last two objects is also always 65 units.  The spacing of all items between the second and next to last is always equal and always the minimum number of items with a space 100 units or less.  See screencast.
