dynamic block with central post

I have a 3D dynamic block which is used for installing a Lattix Mast which is represented by a block, would anyone be able to help with a routine which will place the Lattix mast block in the centre of the x and y planes on the top of the concrete 3d block to produce a representation of how it should look when constructed. I have attached clip and file of how it should look.

Also i wondered about being able to have dynamic concrete hatching with different shades for each face.

Any help appreciated.

Take a look at the attached drawing. It contains a couple dynamic blocks that represent isometric geometry, similar to your drawing.

I modified the "single shelf" block to include a block (the hatched circle), which will stay in the middle of the shelf no matter what size the grips are dragged to. This is accomplished using the second STRETCH actions which have a "distance multiplier" set to one-half (0.5). These also keep the grips in the center of the shelf edges.
