Hi Guys,

does anyone know why the dynamic stretch action changes the dimensions alignment?

I have attached the file because it is a bit weird.

So I opened your block.  It appears that the DIMS were associated, which effects the stretching mechanism.  I opened the block and used DIMDISSOCIATE to break the association and then tested it which corrected the stretch.

@Anonymous, It seems to me all that is required is that you align the nodes on those dimensions so that they are all collinear - I did this to the horizontal line of dims by just drawing a line at 0 rotation and dragging each node to the line, then moving the whole group of dims back where you had them.

It looks like maybe you dimensioned using various pick points instead of using pick points using aligned x values.

I left it to you to fix the vertical dimensions the same way. No re-dimensioning was required.

Hope this helps..

No problem.  I was messing around with it some more and what happened is that some were associated with their neighboring DIMs and was throwing it off.  I used DIMREASSOCIATE to reconnect them to their grid lines and that worked as well.  Best advice be aware of what your clicking the dims to.
