Dynamic block strech base point

I’ve encountered an issue while trying to adjust the size of a block.

Please refer to the attached video for reference.

Previously, when I stretched the block 12" to the right, the base point was set to the right end of the block. However, it has now shifted to the left end of the block.

Does anyone know what might be causing this change?

Thank you for your assistance!

Your post doesn't really make sense to me.  The Block Base Point is the top left point of the block.  It is the darker blue grip.  It is at that point within the block definition and it is at that point throughout your entire video.  There is a moment in the video where it is hidden by the alignment grip but other than that you can see it in the top left corner through the entire video.  Please explain with more details what you mean.

Please take a look at the 10-second mark of the video.

I wanted to stretch 12 inches to the left, starting from the left edge of the block.

However, the block was resized to a total width of 12 inches based on the right edge instead.

Yeah, that is normal and correct behavior because you have dynamic input turned on.  You can toggle it using DYNMODE or add the toggle button to the bottom of your screen by selecting the 3 horizontal lines at the bottom right of your screen and checking Dynamic Input.  That has nothing at all to do with the base point, though.
