Dynamic Block parameter HELP!

Dear users

i'm having a problem restraining a value in a dynamic block, (check the Block attached)

i need to create a reducer for cable tray, and an offset edge of 5 along the sides of the reducer

I've managed to create the block and the controls for stretching and modifying the two end width but i'm having an issue with the edge

can someone please guide me what should i do?

Best Regards

Do you have full AutoCAD?

If you do I would change your edge to a polyline and then put dimensional constraints of 5 at the horizontal lines and the diagonal line as well

Here's the super-easy way...  Get rid of all the constraints.  Define a multiline style that matches your line offset.  Replace your lines with a multiline on each side.  Add the multilines to the stretch actions.  See screencast.

Thank you guys for your quick reply. I will try both solutions and see the results.
Will keep you posted

I think the dynamic parameters/actions version with the multiline is simpler and easier, but I played around with a constraints version and it seems to be solid.  See attached file.
