Dynamic Block File Compatibility from Draftsight to Autocad

My company wants me to do some CAD. I used the AutoCAD free trial and started a library of Dynamic Blocks. I then became aware of DraftSight and continued to augment my library during their 30 day trial. It crashes allllll the time and doesn't allow you to save it, so I now have a seat of AutoCAD LT.

To my dismay, none of the dynamic properties are available when opening the file created in DraftSight in AutoCAD LT. I used the default 2018.dwg and am using the current releases of each program.

I've got my work PC with a licensed version of AutoCAD LT and now have a fresh 30 days of DraftSight on my home PC to attempt to rectify the situation. I've experimented with R14, 2013,.dxf ect. file types to no avail.

Probably about 30 hours of work down the drain if I can't rectify this problem

HELP!!!!!

@MatthewSJX8RB Thank for the historical background: but you never quite explain the actual problem. Try again? If there can be something to fix, you ought to at least provide a DWG file with these blocks in them, and in that file, identify exact what does or does not work.

FWIW assuming two programs from two competing Software developers are somehow 100% compatible, then you commit so much time and effort into that assumption, looks to be the real problem here my friend.
You can also reach out to DraftSight Users (or that vendor) for support, their might be something you can do (or not), here is the link https://www.draftsight.com/support/home and https://www.draftsight.com/community/

Good luck.

Draftsight added support for AutoCAD dynamic blocks but it didn't indicate two way compatibility so try opening an AutoCAD LT dynamic block at home in Draftsight - if you can, it might be an indication of a strictly one directional workflow. AutoCAD LT to Draftsight ....you're OK, Draftsight to AutoCAD LT.....you're Out-Of-Luck.
