Hello,

We're trying to create a dynamic block of a track light fixture, with alternating track heads (either side) spaced at 2'-0" o/c, linked to a stretch of the track itself. Issue we have, is the array of the alternating heads stops short of the track stretch and we need those track heads to keep repeating to the end. Any tips/ help is much appreciated!

Not exactly, it cannot be linked to increment, as the track itself is cut in field to suit so it's not a 2'/4' etc track length, it's custom. Screen shot for reference, we need the array to keep repeating in this example as shown.

[EDIT]:

I forgot to disable the "Show Properties" property. I'd suggest to do that.

track correction.png

And delete the "VisibilityState0". It was used only while designing the block.

@j.palmeL29YX to be honest as I did in my attempt I would use the same array for both sets of lights eg the first triangle and semicircle light are on Array and the others on Array2

This is exactly how test-pa1 is designed (if I understand you right): Array is for the both upper lights and Array2 for the both lower lights.

???  What I'm missing?

@j.palmeL29YX If the array was attached to both lights when selecting it they will both show up as highlighted. Compare the two images below. The second is mine. On yours you will notice you have Array, Array1, Array2 and Array3

@h_s_walker

Do you test the latest block which was attached to post #6?

Perhaps you have still loaded an older block definition in your current test file? Either open directly my dwg file (which contains "authoring elements" [btw I hate these block files]) or you insert it into a new clean file.

Please check again ...
