define snap points

I would like to define snap points for this block that is meant to be a label for window size and sill height. The intended snap points are positioned at 0,0 and 0,-1'-8 27/32" depending on whether I need the label above or below the window on the floor plan. I have a basepoint defined but so far when testing this block, I get no snapping at either point mentioned.

You have a insertion snap point for the justification point of each of the attributes.  You can add nodes to any point you like within the block and those will work as snap points.  If you select the block, you get the base point grip.
