I have made a start.dwg file with a bunch of dynamic blocks I use like legos to build whatever Im building. When I am done I use a data extraction table to make a parts list. I have to make several tables to separate parts in to there groups.I tried adding a table to the start.dwg file so I can just update it instead of making a bunch of new tables every time but the tables no mater what I have tried so far stays connected to the original start file showing only 1 of everything.

Pick a cell of the table and edit the table. You will see where the table is listing files in your original table file and not the file you are in now. Remove that original file and add the current file. All should be correct.
