Me and my team use Autocad 2015. We currently use a variety of blocks that represent manufactured equipment. These blocks are dynamic and have a width and length attribute.
Instead of manually tagging blocks and creating a seperate parts list external of Autocad, is there a way of automatically tagging each block, extracting the attributes and populating a BOM list within the drawing. Not a parts list for making up that individual block, but just lengths and widths of the illustrated block in the drawing.
