In my title block the attribute definition "revision" doesn't exist in block editor can someone explain why. Is there a way to delete it?

I am using Autocad LT 2025.

Thanks

@J0shP They are in there, they've just been hidden in every visibility state.

Click on the icon ringed in the image below and you will see them and then you can delete them. After you've deleted them don't forget to do an ATTSYNC to update the block

Thanks, i must've tried playing around with those ages ago and forgot to delete them. my next question would be, why does the attribute show in the bottom right of my block in my revision box next to drawing number and not where it is placed above?

It's because after you did the edit you didn't do ATTSYNC. If you do it now and select the block, you will see that the A will disappear

Changes to attributes only happen after running the 'attsync' command. After you've run it you will see the actual location of the attributes.

yeah i understand that, maybe i didn't make myself clear. Lets go back to the original block and forget about my original question. why does the revision attribute "A" show in the bottom right of the block when in paper space, but when going into block editor its not located in that spot?

I think I may have a theory.

My original block before I sent it to you guys had 2 attributes that were the same, meaning that one of the "Revision" attributes was red. This red one was the one from my revision list above everything (REV1), and the other in the bottom right (REV2). My thought is that REV1 was hidden in all visibility states so it connected its location to REV2. I bet if i created 3 of the same and hid 2 of them. The 2 hidden ones would appear ontop of the visible one. I just attsynced the file i sent to you guys and the A disappeared from paper space. This makes sense in my head. I hope it does to you as well.

Is this correct?

I thought i clicked reply to your message, is my "Theory" correct in a separate response?

The reason why one of the Revision attributes was red is because you cannot have two attributes with the same tag. Every tag has to be unique

eg REV1, REV2, REV3

The answer to issue with the A in the corner wasn't dodged, it was answered more than once.  Run ATTSYNC.

The "A" is still showing there because it was the location of that attribute at the time the block was placed or created. It's location and/or existence is out of sync with the block definition.  If you move, add or remove an attribute in the block editor you need to re-sync any inserted blocks with the revised block definition for them to get the attribute updates.

I did run the ATTSYNC command but the "A" remained in its place when i was testing last week, just done the same thing on the same block and its working. Must've been a glitch and just needed to restart autocad, that's where i was getting confused. Thanks for the help
