block table and scale

I'm trying to create a non-annotative north arrow that will scale appropriately based on a scale selected from a pull-down list.  I can't seem to get the block table to scale with the block. Is this possible?

The block properties table grip will always be the exact same place relative to the block base point.  One way to move the block properties table it so place it on top of a base point parameter and then add a move/stretch/scale to the base point to move it in the manner you would like the block properties table to move.  Bear in mind that this workaround can sometimes cause other issues related to moving the base point.

Thanks, I can work with that.   I've seen it done before and have a block that I was able to get to work but do not really understand the process for scale/rotate text and maintaining horizontal. I keep getting a kaleidoscope effect. Is that something you could walk me through for this block? I'm thinking the scale portion is upsetting a couple of actions. See attached. The one on the left has had all the associated actions stripped.

A lookup and a linear scale parameter will do what you need. You can add the lookup to the scale action. See the attached drawing

Thanks for the reply, I see the look up table but am accomplishing the scale function from a btable that I'm also using to update text in another visibility state. See (screencast) for problem. If you notice the text is moving further away from the circle and not rotating correctly when the scale function within the block is used. It just seems like I'm missing something.  The block will work fine as an annotative block which may be the answer in the end. I was hoping to avoid that particular solution.
