Block Definition being Changed

I am curious about a behavior I am seeing when inserting Dynamic Blocks.  Sometimes when I insert a dynamic block into a drawing the block loses the hatch associativity  that is present in a part of the block.  I am able to overcome the issue by redefining the block....but I am curious what might be causing this.

I checked to see if an instance of the block was present in the drawing before inserting the block and indeed there was no instance of a block with the same name.

However there were several orphaned blocks that began with the letter "U"  so I'm assuming that has something to do with the issue.

I am also pretty sure that I had never inserted a block with the same name before so it's almost as if the block,  when inserted,  is being redefined and taking on some properties (non-Associative Hatches) from some other past orphaned block data.

I'm more just curious about the theory.  Once I "redfine" the block the expected behavior of the block returns.  And if the block is inserted in a "Clean"  "New" drawing the block behaves as expected.

Post your source block in a container file here, then post a sample DWG file where your block failed: let someone see what you see, touch what you touch.

Conveyor Beds.dwg is the source file that contains the "block" <C-NBS-21BF>

618C1.0B.dwg is the drawing where the block <C-NBS-21BF> is not behaving properly after it's initial insertion.  If I "re-define" the block then it behaves as expected moving forward.

The unexpected behavior is the hatches losing their "Associativity"
