Hi, i have a dynamic block with a rotation parameter, the base angle is 30 and i have in the value set i have a list of angles at 12,30,337,352 but i want them to to be listed as 7,25,45,60 is there away of setting the base angle of 30 to 0 so it would work ?

the rotation is going clock wise so 30 is at 7, 12 is 25 and so on..

See the image below. Change the value ringed to 30 as in the image. Then when you test the block you will see the angle says 0

I think you misunderstand what the base angle property does.  Seems to me that you want to set your base angle set to 25 rather than 30 and then adjust the list to your desired values in order to have the list display the values you would like for the actual angles.  See attached.

I interpreted your comment that the angles were clockwise as meaning that the units have been changed to read degrees clockwise.  If instead you mean that the units read as CCW angles and just that you want to reverse the angles for this specific parameter, it gets more complicated.  Report back if that's the case.

Hi Libbya, sorry about accepting the solution on the wrong post with the other issue you helped me with. i need to accept the final post as the solution i take it ?

On this one when the fly jib is one the boom at zero degree's the are four off set angles 7,25,45 and 60 but i have my main boom set at 30 degree's not zero which throws the other angles out because they are based on the boom being flat.

i have managed to sort of work around it but i want it so that when you look in the properties when using the block it shows 7,25,45,60 instead of 5,23,330,345 that it shows now and i don't know how or if it can be done.

hopefully the attached drawing makes my babble easier to understand...

You can select any post within a thread as the solution or even any number of posts within a thread, either yours or someone else's.  You can also undo your selection if you make a mistake by clicking on the 3 vertical dots in the top right of the post and selecting "Not the solution".  The main purpose behind selecting posts as solutions is to make the archive of posts/threads more useful for people searching and allowing them to zero in on the solution to the issue without needing to read through all the posts of the thread.

The drawing attached to your last post did help explain.  I think that the attached file is what you are after.
