ATTRIBUTE WITH MASK OPTION

Is there a way to put a background mask option for the attributes on a block that you can toggle like a visibility state? I tried creating a block with 2 visibility state - one with the attributes having background masks and the other none. Problem is i retype everything again when i change the visibility state.

You can use 3 attributes.  One of the attributes is the one that you edit.  The other two use fields that reference the first attribute.  One of the two attributes that has a field also has the background mask, the other attribute that has a field does not not have the mask.  Post the block if you want a screencast showing the process.
