Trying to scale a drawing.

My name is Matthew and it's been about 7 years since I messed with Autocad. I'm trying to duplicate a drawing and when I try to put in the dimensions I have to zoom in real close to see the numbers. What am I doing wrong? I messed with the Annotation scale option at the bottom of the screen but I still can't see the dimensions.

I suspect you are in the wrong forum. Are you actually using AutoCAD?

@Discussion_Admin - you might have to move this

To answer your question, you should be drawing things full size, at 1:1. Then after you decide what paper size you want, you can adjust the annotation scale to make the text come out at a certain printed height (the actual size you'll measure on paper).

Are you using AutoCAD? If so what release and on what system?

Did you mean to post this on the AutoCAD Forum Board?
