Measuring

Hi

My only problem with the CAD Trueview 205, 2018 is in regards to the measuring tool.    I will measure the same spot multiple times and get sq ft for a room 204 sq ft. and then the same area and get 398 sq ft.   

I am boxing off the area and then clicking the mouse and then hitting enter for the total sq ft to show.    How do you normally measure a specific area with your mouse and keyboard?    Am I doing something wrong?   Is anyone else getting drastically different measurements for the same area?   Have you found 2018 version the most accurate or is there another version more accurate like 2017 etc.

Re: your last question.

DWG Trueview is just a stripped down version of AutoCAD. There are no 'more' or 'less' accurate versions.

Can you do a screencast and show us that are you measuring the same area twice and getting two different results?

Your random method inaccurate inconsistent selection for the area of the room is most likely the culprit here my friend, what method do you call that, "eye-balling it'?
