Command Line Lost, Won't Come Back

I just downloaded and installed TrueView. I undocked the command line to a floating window and then closed it. A popup said to unhide the window press "Ctrl + 9", at least I thought that's what it said. I've tried different key combinations and nothing so far has brought it back. Any ideas?

I beleve this is controled by a registry setting or another setting in
application data. But I don't have the information to pin point the exact
items.

Here's my recommendation:
Delete the following:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your login name]\Application Data\Autodesk\DWG
TrueView 2007

Re-run the application, I beleve it will re-create the above files and place
the DWG Viewer back to it's default state. If not, then uninstall, delete
the above and re-install.

If this doesn't work, please let me know and I'll see if I can find out
more.

I'm just wondering why you need the command line?

I really don't need the command line, finding it again after I lost it is a challenge that's all :-).

I was looking at this viewer as a replacement for the DWF Whip driver we use now. All of our drawings are accessible in DWF by any Plant computer via our site intranet system. Corporate is always tightening the security screws which at times creates roadblocks to our ability to make changes as needed. We are looking at revamping it all and placing it on a box here on site as opposed to a corporate server on the other side of the world which would allow us near full control on content and accessibility. Since TrueView allows viewing in DWG format it would save a step by not having to convert to DWF so while I was checking out the software I wanted to see what I could do to make it as "user friendly" as I could. That's how I lost the command line window, by clicking and picking and dragging the way someone not to familiar with the look would do and there went the command line!

If someone goes to hide it, what key combination does that pop-up box tell you it is to unhide it? You can cancel the box so it doesn't hide yours.

So short story long, don't need it just want to know how to fix it if someone calls and asks me because they just lost theirs.

I would ask them the same thing.

There is nothing you can do with it, so what difference does it make...

;-)

I am self thought and use 2000 release which worked beautifully until now.

Assuming the command line and the command window are separate entities I suddenly lost the entire command window and cannot recall how it might have happened.

I tried to grab it around the status bar in case I had hidden it behind the bar but couldn't find it there or anywhere else.

Tried to use the text window but when I tried to drag it near the status bar ( the correct place I read ) the text line is hidden because the title of the text window is the only place to use when dragging the window whatever is beneath it ( the command line in this case ) is hidden. It seems that the text window is not dockable and when I try using it as a floater it disappears as soon as the command is entered.

Trying to enter text or tools is useless without the command window given what I've seen so far.

Any thoughts?
