True View Layers all merged into one

I am having a issue when using DWG True View as i look to change the layer colours and all my layers have been merged into one. This makes it difficult as i cant select a specific layer and set a colour or hide from view etc. I have tried changing the file format when exporting or making new save points to different areas but still nothing. I have been able to do this in the past however for some reason after me changing nothing i cant select my individual layers.

Thank you  in advance.

Change file format? What does that mean?
What program are you creating the DWG file from exactly? If AutoCAD, explain your process step by step.
TRUEVIEW (DTV) has no such ability: your source file was pre-merged for you.

Or are you using DTV to open some other some other non-CAD file format?
Or not using DTV?
We can't see what you see.

i am using Fusion 360. i basically draw out a design in the sketch view and export the file into a DWG format. so the only thing the file has is line drawings. once exported i load it up into DWG true view and change the layer colours so you can easily differentiate certain elements and export it into a pdf to print and give out. However when i load the exported file into DWG true view it seems to compress all the layers into one.

Now i have been able to do this in the past so i know it is possible, However for no reason some files when i export them will not allow me to do this at all.

apologies for the lack of information but there isn't much of anything to add. i was mainly hoping if others had this. or if this was a common issue.

You might want to ask fellow FUSION360 users about exporting DWG files with layers intact for AutoCAD to use, the viewer only handles what is created, it does not have any ability to alter the content of the DWG file by design (as a viewer), here is that forum https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/bd-p/962
