DWG TrueView how to set xRefs paths

Hello, we have a file that has xrefs and the xrefs are not being recognized. How can we set/correct the path for the xrefs? Also, can the xrefs be in a different path from the file itself (ex: can the path be a URL)?

You should be receiving this dialog when you open a DWG and one or more Xrefs are not found.

If not, then after the drawing opens, click the big red "D" in the upper left corner, and in the search bar, enter the command "Xref". The command will appear below that, and you can execute it to open the Xref palette.

From there you can change the path to one or more xrefs, just like you would in AutoCAD.

.... or drop your XREFs in the same exact folder as your top DWG file, that always solves it too.

A good technical solution @lam_ivonne - but if you are collaborating with others, keep that in mind. They may not want their DWG files moved or copied.
