To show the right colors in Autodesk viewer

I have a problem to get the right colors of my model in Autodesk Viewer. The base model in Inventor has the right colors. This colors are alloted in the assembly. For example the part color is grey (Steel color) and in the assembly we give the parts another color (in this case red).

After saving this assembly in .dwfx I open this in Autodesk viewer and all the colors are grey.

When I open this .dwfx in Design Review the correct colors are shown.

What can I do to get the right colors in Autodesk viewer?

Hi there

Thank you for your question. Please try the following

-Insure that you have assigned each part to a specific layer in Inventor.

-Export to DWF

Thanks

Hello,
I don't know how to assign parts to a layer.
Normally it's possible in a drawing, but I don't know how to do that in a model. Can you help me?

I'm having the same issue. Colors export ok in DWFX when opened in Autodesk Design Review program but colors don't show up in online Autodesk Viewer. I'm trying to share a model with a vendor who doesn't have the free program since it is easy to just share a link to the online viewer, but the lack of being able to see the view representation as I exported it is disappointing. Any updates?
