Inconsistant Layer and Color errors

I am having an issue where objects are not maintining layer assignments and colors by layer are not being displayed properly.

This latest incident occured after I made a change to my layer colors.

Objects that were on the 'Ribs' (Orange) layer of my drawing suddenly changed to the 'AVLAYER' (Yellow) without warning, but were being displayed with a green color (former color of the ribs layer). When I mouse over the green part, is reads as being on the AVLAYER instead of the Ribs layer where I had placed it.

Your screenshot is not of a DWF file, the forum you are posting in. Do you need to repost in another forum?

Not sure where to post. I was working with a DWF file when I made the post.

Though think I may have solved some of what was causing the issue.

I seamed to have ended up with duplicate objects, overlapping.
