PDF now the preferred format?

It's amazing how easy the simplest things can have a profound effect on choosing software. I can no longer provide a dwf to my customers/clients because they don't understand the simple concept of when they print you must switch the dwf to black and white instead of color because certain items don't show up when printing in color. It looks like they are so happy with the black and white pdf's that they see no benefit to the dwf format. How do you address these trivial things to people that just don't get it?

You publish black and white DWF files by applying your pen settings as part
of publish. That way users can view and print. Alternatively users have to
select "Black and White" in the color settings on the print dialog.

I'm using inventor 11 so pen settings may or may not be an option when publishing the dwf. In any case I guess I just don't understand why it's so difficult for a person to simply select black and white when they print. You would think they would like the nice colors and options for turning on/off layers in the dwf but all these seem small compared to having to simply select black and white when they print.

Sorry about the AutoCAD reference. Yes Inventor is different. Your users can
easily select "black and white" from the print dialog. My guess is that they
are overlooking "Color Setting."
