How does one do that in VB6 with DWF Viewer 7 installed?

Take a look at:

Find the sample MaximizeCanvas.htm

This is written in JavaScript, you should be able to convert this to VB6, or
look at the sample in the help for the API's, there should be a sample in
VB6 there.
