Sweep or Pipe

Can someone see a reason that I cannot Sweep or Pipe this 3D path in one operation.

And how did I get the on body result in my earlier Sweep and Pattern example while in my latest Pipe attempt I had to Combine the Pattern?

Hi @TheCADWhisperer,

I suspect that this is a tolerance issue.  At this point in the path:

The two points are not precisely on top of one another.  It's off by just a bit, but I suspect that it's enough to fool the chain selection code.  It's a good test, though.  We'll take a look at this, maybe we can adjust the tolerance.

One minor point:  When you create the second sweep, you don't need to create a sketch:

You can just sweep directly from the end of the first sweep.  It doesn't really matter, just removes one step in the history.
