rotating a 3d spline?

Hi,

i have a 3d spline and a profile that gets "sweeped" along it. However the profile seems to twist itself along the path.

I would like the sqaure to rest flat in the beginning and the end of the sweep. At the moment I can put the profile either at the beginning or the end of the spline which results in either the beginning or the end being flat but no both.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Try loft instead, you'll need a square at both ends of the spline. Use the squares and profiles and the spline as a centreline rail.

Loft works great.  Another choice is to use "Sweep with path and rail" - the rail curve will allow you to control the twist of the sweep along the path.
