Problem to project curves onto a plane

Hi,
I am trying to project the 4 pieces of curves living into the sketch "source curves" onto the plane "plan coeur".
I only get the projection "projected curves", where there is missing a lot.
What happens to me ?
Tx a lot for your help

Hi @cali.season26,

Do you mean like this?

I just created a new sketch, and projected the curves one by one into that sketch.  It seemed to work fine for me:

I deleted your sketch and then started a new sketch on the plane "Plan coeur" and did not have any difficulty.

What is interesting though, your projected curves sketch appears to be on the XY plane. (same as Sketch source curves), and if I attempt to Redefine Sketch Plane for projected curves - they do not move to the Plan coeur.

I also note that there is projected geometry (two short curves) in you projected curves sketch that are not in your source curves sketch.  It appears that you edited source curves in some way that made the projected curves sketch "sick".

Hi,

OK, a project feature works.

I did a projection to a surface : that was looking the good feature for me, since the projection is done on a plane, and then, the result is weird.

The file isn't sick, I isolated my problem.

In fact, I have a problem at an under stage.

I don't succeed to make a loft, and the problem was described here

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/124/message-id/88503

and i repost it nowhere,

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/design-validate-document/a-problem-of-loft-another-time/td-p/6768686

since I didn't get any reply in this first thread.

As the loft works with a projected curve (on a surface, btw) - the rail 2 -, I thought to create such projected curve for my plane rail 1.

That don't works anymore (but the projected curve isn't a projection on a surface, but a "direct" projection)

I don't know if I am clear, but there are 2 real problems for me :

1 - a projection of my curves on a surface should work when the surface is the plane XY

2 - my loft should works too, since my profiles 1 and 2 are attached on the 2 rails.

Tx for your help.

I reply to myself : the projection on a plane surface is working when I extrude one line to make a plane.

It guess that a constructed plane isn't a extruded plane, for the program.

Otherwise my loft problem is entire.

One rail can be made from many pieces of curves, but not a second rail, even when the 2nd rail is got from a projected curve.
