Fusion won't open

I haven't used Fusion 360 in about a week. I tried to open it today and I am getting this in a warning window.

C:/users/Greg/AppData/Local/Autodesk/webdeploy/production/

f9042f554b0a0c3d14c46a7d9f3679baf42fdd2d/Win64/AdCefWebBrowser.exe:Path does not exist.

I found the file "f904...." and it is there and it looks like all the data is there.

I have no idea what's wrong here. If I keep closing the warning window Fusion will eventually open but all of my "projects" are not visible to open.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Greg

Hi Greg,

Thank you for posting and I am sorry to hear about the issue. Could you try the steps in this article to see if that helps? If not, could you attach the application log file

Hi Greg,

Thank you for the update! I'm sorry to hear that you are still experiencing the issue. Have you tried the "AdCefWebBrowser.zip" that you find at the bottom of the article? In case you haven't, I have attached it here so please give it a try. If this doesn't help, could you try creating a new Windows account and install Fusion 360 with that account to see if that makes a difference?

Masa,
I think I found the problem. My Windoze OS is loosing .dll files like rats
leaving a sinking ship. New hard drive is on order.
Thank you for your efforts to help me out.

The new SSD hard drive cured the problem. Fusion now loads lickety split!

What I did find out is if you are running Windoze 10 and are having problems with Fusion 360 or any other CadCAM type software,

run CHKDSK, If it hangs up (mine hung up at 11%) your drive is loosing sectors.

I did a fresh install on the new drive and Life Is Good Again!
