Fillet Fail.

Why does this fillet fail.

It works OK if I remove the draft angle on the faces the rib is joined to. File's attached.

I can get what I want if I cut the body in half, fillet then combine but it seems like it should just work.

I made some changes - but I don't like one end.

It would be nice if Fusion had a Full Round Fillet like Inventor and SolidWorks.

 

I might add a bit of draft to the rib as well.

It's part of a bigger design and the split line will be parallel with the rib so no need for draft on the rib. This is one of those where machining the electrode with a 4mm ball nose will give the fillet but I need the model to show the customer.

Hey Mark - there's an extremely tiny sliver created when the combine is done at one end of the rib, if you extend the 'nose' of Body3 a little bit to avoid this interference then the fillet should work as expected.
