I'm getting an error message everytime I try and open one of my designs:
"An unexpected error occurred while downloading and opening a document from A360"
I'm using my laptop in a different place right now, so I'm not sure if it's because of a different internet connection. I've tried restarting my computer and uninstalling and reinstallng 360, but same problem.
When you uninstalled, did you use the clean unistall procedure?
You may also try some of the following suggestions:
Manually Clear the .DAT file:
1. Close Fusion 360
2. Browse to:
Windows:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\<ID> (look for latest modified)
Mac OS:
~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360
3. Locate and rename the BrowserStorage_login.dat
4. Restart Fusion 360 give Fusion 360 some time as it will need to rebuild the .dat file
5. Retest
Manually Clear Browser Cache:
1. Close Fusion 360.
2. Locate and delete the below directories.
Windows:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Autodesk\Autodesk fusion 360\{ID}/PLM360Cache
%LOCALAPPDATA%\temp\Autodesk\BrowserCache
Mac OS:
~Library/application support/Autodesk/Autodesk fusion 360/{ID}/PLM360Cache
Open Terminal and enter open $TMPDIR/Autodesk - locate the BrowserCache directory
3. Open Fusion 360 and re-test.
Note: The directories and contents should be re-created at run time.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Found this thread while trying to learn why I'm unable to open any of my projects and instead get a steady stream of "An unexpected error occurred while downloading and opening a document from A360" errors. I AM, however, able to open the Fusion 360 Samples.
I've re-installed and deleted all cache data I was able to find. No dice.
Any/all help would be appreciated.
