Can only launch Fusion 360 once

I can install and sign into Fusion 360 and it launches and works beautifully.  However if I quit and later attempt to relaunch the program is crashes on the load screen with an error.  I submitted error report CER_145323110.  The regular win 8.1 uninstall won't fix it.  I get the same error when I reinstall and try to launch.  But if I use the special Autodesk Fusion360 cleaner tool I get one good launch per install and then back to the same error.

I have tried it with firewall and anti-virus SW disabled. No difference

I have deleted LoginState.xml from the WebServices file.  It requires a new sign in which works fine but the program still crashes the same way.

I am running Windows 8.1 on a Toshiba Qosmio with 32Gigs of memory

Any ideas?

The graphic driver for your Intel video card is from 2013. Can you start by updating that?

Try using the Intel Driver Update Utility from the below website.

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html

I hope that helps!

Thanks,

Thanks so much for your help.  I checked and I am running the most recent driver Intel approved for my machine.  When Fusion launches it works beautifully so I know it runs on this system. It just only launches once.  Any other thoughts?

I looked at the error messages that you submitted and it definitely looks like a graphics issue.

Did you run the Intel driver update utility? Did it actually update the driver? I'm unclear from your reply if something happened or if we are still with the same old driver.

Can you upload a copy of the dxdiag?

  1. Launch %windir%\system32\dxdiag.exe
  2. Select Save All Information
  3. Please reply with the resulting *.TXT file attached

This might help me find another recommendation.

Thanks,

You saying it looked like a graphics issue got me thinking.  I used the Nvidia control panel to force Fusion360 to run on the intel integrated graphics and it ran fine although it pitched a warning about not being optimal.  So I updated the Nvidia driver and switched back to the GE770M and it runs great now.  I wouldn't have thought it was a graphics issue because it ran well the first time.  So you get the cookie on this one!

Thanks so much for your help.
