Align multiple objects?

Is there a command to align multiple objects along their geometric centers?

(e.g. think Adobe Illustrator 'align' or 'distribute')

Thanks,

Joe

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes there is, it's called "Align" tool (under the Modify menu). If you could make a screencast with the objects that you want to align, it will be much easier to help you.

Cheers / Ben

I don't know about making a screencast, but I can give you a simple example:

Make a rectangle 40mm x 60mm x2. Lets arbitrarily call one of the 40x60 faces the 'top' surface.

Make a cylinder, place cylinder on top surface of box, exactly on the center of one of the 40x60 faces.

I've played around with 'align', it doesn't seem to do what I need.

Thanks,

Joe
