I am trying to open a file in Design Review 2018 version 15.0.2.10 and keep getting the prompt that it requires the lates version of TrueView. I have uninstalled and re-installed both, but keep getting the same result. I'm using DWG TrueView 2026 now.

The exact prompt is:

Opening DWG files in Design Review requires the latest version of the free DWG TrueView program be installed.

@dwhitt5U3TH DTV2018 is old: DTV2026 is the latest, and your file contains AEC content newer than your old 2018 software.

You can either upgrade to DTV2026, or ask the file creator if there is any way they can dumb down their DWG file to basic AutoCAD content, no AEC, for you to open in your old software.

You could try DWG viewers from other vendors or the online viewer from Autodesk to resolve the issue as well.

If I may ask, why are you using ADR to read DWG files? It cannot do so, it only handled DWF (and PDFs badly). Or is this a markup need?

Do you have autoCAD? Or can you ask the file creators to only send you DWF files instead of DWG files?

Your title header is dwg files opening in ADR, and ADR never opened a DWG file natively ever in it's existence, that's why you need DTV to open DWG files.
