I'm using AutoCAD 2015LT.
To export individually I zoom in using model space on one of my blocks and choose Export > DWF.
Under Options I use:
- Override precision - None
- Layer information - include
- Merge control - Lines overwrite
- Block information - Include
- Block template file - Local file, create one if you don't have one (click the drop down triangle and click create). I originally used this to pull a name parameter from the block. Not sure it's necessary with the individual export since I can rename all of the blocks.
Back to the save as DWF screen, choose export Display and choose a page setup if your default is not what you want and click Save.
In Design Review open any pdf or dwf file. Navigate to Markup & Measure and click Symbols. Choose Create Catalog from DWF. Choose a file and choose Import each sheet as a symbol. I had to use this method to keep lineweights.
Repeat this process for all symbols. Now go back to your symbols drop down, choose each of your blocks and add them to your drawing. Click and name each under the markup tree.
Finally select your blocks and under Symbols choose Create Catalog from Selection. Name it and you're done. You can delete all of the individual blocks using the Manage Catalogs option.
It's all one giant work around and it only worked for one set of my blocks. I moved to the next set which are a little more complicated and the process utterly failed. Back to the drawing board I guess.
