Design Review 2018 "There was a problem displaying the page" error

Since upgraded from Design Review 2013 to 2018 (and including the hotfix) my users have been either getting the straight up crash message or if the file is open long enough, a "There was a problem displaying the page" error.

In trouble shooting this, I tried the updating the video card driver trick (doesn't work) but I can get the error to go away if they copy the file to their desktop and open it that way.  The issue seems to be opening a dwf from a network share.  We are still half using Globalscape's (WAFS) solution, so since thats problematic as all get out it is what first made me think to rule the network out.  However, we are migrating to Egnyte's Storage Sync solution and the same issue happens there.  I also just setup a share on a straight up server (no replication, as basic as it gets and the files will still "timeout" after a while.

Is anyone else seeing this with 2018?  if so did you find a solution?

I happened to me with Design Review 2018. With Design Review 2013, it works fine. Do you have any solution?

No, no solution.  I was hoping someone else found the issue.  it has to do with either the fact it's open on a network share or another factor.  When I open the file locally on the C drive, this never happens.  Only when it's on a network Share.  It happens at all of my offices, and we recently switched from Global Scape WAFS ( WAN DFS) to Egnyte Storage Sync.  Same errors, and the two products are radically different (OS's, Syncing methods....etc)  I also tested just creating a random share on a server not replicating files.  Same issue after the file was open for a while.

We are facing the same issue at my company. It was working fine on Design Review 2013.

I do not have the design review 2013 installation media. If I contact Autodesk customer support, they are asking me for the serial number for this product. I do not know what to do at this point.

ADR is free and there is no serial number for it.

Google Search today November 5th in the year 2020 says you can download the newer version of ADR here https://www.autodesk.com/products/design-review/download , or do the same for the older version if you want that here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Where-to-download-previo....

I experienced the same "There was a problem displaying the page" error. It turned out to be a corrupt CAD file linked into the project. Once I restored and audited the CAD file the issues was resolved.
