Can't zoom in without using the steering wheel?

Trying to view DWFx files for assemblies created in Inventor 2020 with Design Review, which appears to be incapable of zooming in on the files unless the Steering Wheel is used; the mousewheel (or a Spacemouse) can zoom out, but it cannot zoom in further than the default view. Hitting the Fit To Window command makes the entire assembly zoom out hundreds of meters away; it does this on anything from mouse-sized assemblies, to city bus-sized assemblies. This is happening on two separate computers, with vastly different hardware.

It seems like it is doing this only on Inventor 2020 files - DWFX files generated from prior versions of Inventor appear to function properly, with zoom working via scroll wheel and fit to window actually fitting the assembly to the window.

Has anyone run into similar issues? All that I've come up with in searches is Plotting causing similar issues - but was not able to reproduce. I've played around with the settings available in Options with no results.

Design review is build 14.0.0.179

OS is Windows 10 Enterprise

  1. Steps:
Open a *.iam.dwfx file that was generated in Inventor 2020, either locally or through the Job Processor in Vault Professional 2020
  2. Attempt to zoom in, no zoom
  3. Attempt to zoom out, zooms out
  4. Attempt to zoom in, returns to the same level of zoom as when first opening the assembly
  5. Hit fit to window, assembly zooms out to the point it is only a couple pixels wide.

Fit it to window and then try to zoom it.
