Global Community Games 2020! - EXTENDED!!

Hello everyone!

Great News Community!  We have decided to  extend the deadline for submission by two weeks.  The new deadline is now Novemer 8th!  So get designing and join the game!

We are pleased to announce the Global Community Games 2020!  We will host two rounds of contests for the Design and Manufacturing industry in five language communities (English, French, German, Japanese, and Russian)!  The games are happening in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC), and AutoCAD (ACAD) industry/product in the eight language communities also!

The first round is the Preliminary Competition - Design and Manufacturing.  All the contestants must start from here to become the winner in your community.  The top two from each language community will proceed with the Global Competition Final- Design and Manufacturing.  They will compete with the 9 winners from the other language community to win the Championship.

*Note: It’s up to finalists to re-work on the original design for the Global Competitions Final to be their best and re-submit before the final deadline.

Rules:

1. Must be 18 years old and up at the time of submission of the design.
2. Must be an Autodesk Community Member
3. Residents or citizens of Brazil, Argentina, Poland, Romania, Italy, Turkey, or any US embargoed country will be excluded.
4. Must read and agree on Official Rules-D&M and the privacy statement.  
5. By submitting your entry to this topic as a reply, you agree to the Contest Official Rules and to the use of your personal information as described in the Autodesk Privacy Statement.
6. One submission per person per Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC), Design and Manufacturing (D&M), and AutoCAD (ACAD).  You cannot apply both AutoCAD English and AutoCAD German, but you may do so at both AEC English and AutoCAD German, for example.

Finally, here's the Challenge!

Design & create a working assembly of a simple mechanism.  Make it as simple or complex as you would like.

• Use either Fusion 360 or Inventor.
• Attach the assembly and all native files required to open the assembly as a ZIP file ( you may use Pack n Go, but please keep in mind the maximum file size to attach is 72 MB).
• Embed into your submission a Screencast recording of the mechanism in motion to prove that it works.

  Here's my entry

 A drop of love - Mechanical Automata toy. This comes with a message of peace.

A drop of love and forgiveness can create the same ripples around them and make the world a better place to live.

The whole idea has been brought to shape using Fusion 360 software.

Water droplet automata is a popular toy depicting the ripple effect of a drop. A new automata toy by replacing the circular shape of ripples with the shape of a heart has been conceived.

And Ya, it's Simple... When you Reply in the Forum, you have Options to Attach some files and also to attach a Screencast....

For Screencast, you can either paste the Link or Browse the Screencast from your Contributions.....

Silk pinching lacquer ware (hereinafter referred to as lacquerware) is a kind of painting method in which gold and silver or other metal filaments are pinched into patterns according to the bending and turning of ink patterns, and are glued onto the lacquer board made of natural lacquer as the main material. It is one of the intangible cultural heritage of China. However, due to the fragility and fluidity of the paint layer on the surface of the lacquer board, the CNC machine tools on the market can not process the lacquer board, which leads to the lacquerware processing still mainly by hand, and the efficiency is very low.

The CNC machining system developed by us is a three axis CNC equipment based on the characteristics of lacquer board. In terms of structure, in view of the vulnerability of the paint layer, we have developed an adjustable flexible fixture, which can be used to hold different sizes and thicknesses of paint plates on the basis of protecting the paint layer. In view of the fluidity of the paint layer, we refer to the processing method of the traditional manual thread pinching lacquer ware, and design our product into a vertical structure, which is helpful for the timely discharge of processing waste. In the software, we use the Mach3 control system, and on the basis of the secondary development, designed a special control system and control interface, more convenient for users to operate. In terms of function, the product can be used for slotting paint layers of different sizes and thicknesses, reducing the difficulty of wire pinching process, and replacing the cutter head with a grinding head, which can be used for the lacquering process of lacquerware and assisting the production of lacquer board.

Compared with traditional processing methods, our products can reduce processing time, liberate manpower and reduce costs. I believe our products will affect the whole lacquer industry.

So when I saw this competition, I thought about a concept that has been rolling around my head.

It was inspired by a Reddit post that I had seen a while ago, about an auto repair guy tuning a Porsche 911 that someone had brought in.

This particular Porsche had an interesting quirk, rear wheel steering. This feature supposedly helps with speed and traction around a track, but I was more interested in the dynamic movement.

So I made this model for this competition, hope you guys like it.

(All work is original, I'm especially proud of the car body, my first real venture into the mesh workspace)

Three axis CNC screw lock machine we will use a double table mechanism, greatly improve the efficiency of locking screw, screw positioning using visual recognition system, so that positioning more accurate, the machine will use three weeks screw module, in all directions can be accurate locking screw, to fill the current gap in the domestic market.
