Different Types of Text Editors

Hello,

I'm having issues quickly editing and updating text.

I'm working on a 15+ year CAD file for a plant layout and I'm reworking it top to bottom.

I'm trying to consolidate all of the text to a single layer.

My question is why do two texts on the same layer, have different double click menus and stay different colors when I make sure the properties are the same

If you are using AutoCAD, it could be the difference between text and mtext

Also there can be formatting overrides that live in the text string that can some times be hard to get ahold of. If they have different formats, look at thier value and see if there is other text in addition to the actual text displayed. (eg {Swis721 BT|b0|j0|c0|p34;\)
