“Autodesk Data Connector for Power BI” SSL Certificate Expiry and Uncertified Connector Issue

*IMPORTANT NOTICE*

The SSL certificate for previous versions (2.0.8 and lower) of the “Autodesk® Data Connector for Power BI” will expire on January 3, 2025. As a result, the connector will stop functioning correctly.

We strongly recommend installing the latest version (2.0.9) of this connector from Autodesk Appstore.

If you choose NOT to upgrade the connector to the latest version, please take note of the following points:

1. The connector will appear in the list of Uncertified Connectors when you launch Power BI.
   
2. The Get Data list within Power BI will not show the Autodesk Data Connector for Power BI entry.
   
3. To continue to use the existing version by following the steps below (not recommended):
   1. Open Power BI and click the File menu.
   2. Click Options and Settings from the bottom-left corner.
   3. Click Options.
   4. Click Security under the GLOBAL options category.
   5. Select the (Not Recommended) Allow any extension to load without validation or warning radio button under the Data Extensions section.
   6. Click OK and restart Power BI.
